Simple: While you are connected to the AP, the DNA A query for [www.]aplogin.net is trapped on the AP in the data channel, the AP does return the AP LAN IP address - the DNS query does never reach your router or the DNS up the hierarchy in the Internet. PS. @michaelkenward Business Wireless - the WAP104 is a Business Essential Wireless AP.

I was initially trying to set it up with a wireless laptop while using the supplied login page (aplogin.net) and the given IP address (192.168.0.100), and nothing seemed to work. Once I hooked up the WAC104 directily to the router through my desktop computer, it automatically assigned an IP address which enabled me to set up the unit.

Make sure the CAPS Lock is off.
Clear your browser cache and cookies.
Make sure the internet connection is avaiable and you’re definitely online before trying again.
Avoid using VPN.
