Those who still have problem, are you sure you upgraded to sddm 0.19.0-2 and not 0.19.0-1? And also make sure to reboot the system. (I had to reboot) My autologin is working fine with sddm 0.19.0-2 after a reboot. Last edited by amish (2020-11-04 14:13:58)

Anyone use sddm and actually get auto login to work? So I've been trying out sddm since so many distro's seem to be moving to it, but for the life of me, I can't get auto login to work. Is there a trick to it, is it actually possible? I generated a full sddm.conf file, set autouser="myself" but it still sets at the login screen.
